After 6 wonderful years of running the Christmas Barn there will be no shop this season. We started another business almost 2 years ago which has gone from strength to strength, this involves a lot of evening and weekend work for me. That, coupled with two college courses and a busy family life means we are (like most families) stretched a little too thin. I ran the Christmas barn because I loved it, I loved the crafts, the makers, the setting up and all the customers, many of whom became friends But it did take a huge effort from August to Jan. The good news is, we will still sell the lovely locally grown and freshly cut Christmas Trees from December and the very good news is they will now be sold by us just a few yards down the road from Baythorne Hall. You’ll now be able to choose your tree and your Christmas drinks at one stop and even enjoy a delicious lunch at the same time. The very good news is we will soon have an approx.(up to) 60ftx20ft barn to rent out. We are in the process of installing water and sewage to make it self contained, A perfect space for another business, workshop or similar. Perfectly located at a busy junction.
Welcome to the Tannenbaum Christmas Barn
Home, Gifts, Crafts and Decorations
Set in the courtyard of an old 16th Century coaching inn and situated on what was once the main route to Cambridge, the former stables have now been converted to house an inspirational and fun collection of constantly changing gifts and decorations.
With beautiful ideas for your home – including original crafts from local artisans, stunning collections of decorations and the odd vintage or antique item - you are sure to find that special gift for family and friends or simply a treat to spoil yourself.
Here you will find old dressers and shelves holding unusual gifts, walls dressed with traditional wreaths, antique cribs filled with beautifully sewn textiles and baskets full of soft toys and gifts for young children. A delightful Victorian village scene with twinkling lights and moving characters will be on display for all to enjoy.
Beautiful, fresh Christmas trees are available from December
